Year 6 Family Education Program – ‘Preparing for Puberty’


​On Wednesday 24 May, an educator from ‘True Relationships and Reproductive Health’ will be running a family education program for year 6 students and their parents/caregivers on ‘Preparing for puberty’. The program will take place from 6pm-7:30pm in the Resource Centre.

parents/carers. It addresses reproductive body parts and changes that occur at puberty. 

True’s family education programs are designed to assist you to: 

  • Develop healthy communication with children
  • Provide age-appropriate sexuality education
  • Build children’s self-esteem and
  • Answer questions with comfort. 

There are still spaces available. Tickets are $20 per parent/child group. To secure a spot, please e-mail Genevieve Agerholm ( by Friday 12 May.
